Les Portfolio is finally done & being sent out on the hunt for design work! It’s a strange experience making a design portfolio… it’s probably cliched of me to say, but it’s sort of like being naked and sending pictures of yourself out to everyone to hear what they think of you.
You get better at doing it the more time goes by. You take it less personally when someone doesn’t respond, in the beginning you think they must hate you/your work. (which of course they don’t! but it’s hard to convince yourself of as much). 
Being a freelance graphic designer has its perks - time for Spoonful, walks with family, the freedom to choose what you do, but then the flip side of that is a continuous search for work (which is exhausting, as no one likes selling them-self - me most of all!) work coming in waves, and… the portfolio-making cycle… naked once again ;) hehe
Anyhow, this is what is keeping me busy (and glued to screen and heater ;) So if, by any chance you are looking for a graphic designer, message me and I’ll send you my naked pictures ;) Don’t worry, it’ll just be the portfolio. I design anything from etsy banners, to logos to brochures to invites to illustration.
Challenge me! I’m a designer wanting to bite her teeth into something! Hooray!
