So wild :) We were at BednBath (appropriate?) and found classic wondrous ones which will not be used until we have moved… and unpacked… and cleaned… and then… aaaaah, the luxury of a lovely bathmat beneath the toes… It’s the simple pleasures, isn’t it? thea. xx

illustration by randy otter Had a lovely morning shnuggling a gorgeous little bub (my wedding planner had a little boy) and a load of giggles with lovely ladies. This afternoon however, I have developed a headache, garrrgh! It’s  from my neck which got put out a little I think. Hate headaches, they don’t allow anything fun to get done. Headache tablets here I come… an...

image by Syko So in a few weeks Mr Visionary and I will be moving house. I know. what? when? Where? Well, we’re actually not moving far from our current place but sadly we’re waving goodnight and goodluck to the opera house in search of more space and…. a bath!!! Eeek, I LOVE baths, hehe. It’s a nice time to move. Newly married = new home together :) Still close to family...

So I was naughtily on facebook the other day and I stumbled upon a little quote my friend Belinda had made. She said: ” Without Art the world would be ‘eh’. ” I don’t think it can be said better than that, can it? hehe thea. xx

image by Boy_Wonder I’ve been very excitingly working on and watching the next Spoonful edition come together this week, and today was particularly wondrous. Uh! I am eeking out loud a lot as it’s SOOOOOOO exciting! Along with the usual print issue of Spoonful, this time we’re building a DIGITAL version for ipads & digital readers. (and you my SA friends who don’t get...

image by B Durkin Hello lovely Visionaries! Happy Monday :) I thought we could start the week with a remarkably beautiful site… This is a lighthouse on Lake Erie in Cleveland which, in Winter becomes an ice-castle! Isn’t it beautiful? Crashing waves turn to ice in freezing blasts of wind and birds circle as though their queen waits within :) Beautiful, no? thea. xx P.S. other...

The Invitation by Oriah It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know  if you will risk  looking like a fool for love for your dream for the adventure of being alive. It doesn’t interest me what planets are  squaring your moon… I want to know if...

My sister is one of those amazing magically-powered women who manages to do it all. She’s beautiful, talented, kind, a designer, oh and she bakes ALL the time. If you spontaneously pop by her house there is usually something scrumptious in the oven or just out of it (I know, yes, it IS hard for me to be the inferior sister and eat the baked goods :) hehe Anyhow, she also gets me out the...

An odd benefit to my getting very tired easily (it seems to be this post-virul bonus at the moment) is that while exhausted I sit down quietly and indulge in a little… surfing. What? Don’t look at me like that. I’m too tired to write about Spoonful or getting more design work. Yes, really. I am. Anyway, as usual, I found the most inspiring surfing hovering over somewhere in...

image by decorada So I’m on the hunt for all things CARROT at the moment, as we’ve just launched the Spoonful Easter Competition. I have a self-confessed craft-addiction, yes hi, I’m thea and I’m addicted to Craft. And so I really LOVE running the Easter contest and thinking of new ways to challenge fellow creatives :) This year I felt a little tired of the Easter egg...

tropical meanderings amidst the fevers… I managed to have a couple of hours when I felt well enough & inclined to wander about Phuket with the camera. What was most amazing was how orchids are grown everywhere. They plant them on the edge of palms trees and they seem to bloom and bloom… *sighs* I love Orchids. Do you? thea. xx

So what happened? Well, Mr Visionary & I happily set off to Thailand for our time in tropical paradise and… well… I definitely had the “tropical” part of the experience, but we can drop the “paradise” as I fell so ill over there that Mr V. had to rush me off to Thai hospital (where they were lovely and kind by the way :) Rush me home (wheelchairs...
