So I am still busily working on the next Spoonful and drawing more jewels! You guys are probably uber sick of seeing gems by now - sorry about that - I can hear some disappointed groans… but honestly, I can’t seem to control myself! Thought maybe you’d like to see them in progress & process this time instead of the final thing, that’s how I like to see things…...
So here is the final batch of the little jewel cards that I have been busily painting, cutting, folding & binding :) Lots of people have asked if I could do a little painting, like an art piece they could frame for their wall, so I’m going to do a batch of A4 originals, followed by a few other sparkley surprises…. hehehe I’m posessed by sparkles! Fun!

How are you guys? I think I am slowly coming out of a shell again and I can proudly present to you my first batch of completed 6 jewel cards!! bow BOW… what do you think? I confess I’m slightly proud of their sparkle ;) They took an aaaage to paint!! Inside each gem there is a plain white little 8-page booklet for poetic protestations of love, friendship...

SO… while I paint gems - perhaps the one has fed into the other - I am quite happily listening to an audio book entitled ‘SOTHEBY’S Bidding for Class’ all about… you guessed it Sotheby’s, the auction house, its characters and history.

Rained in, broken toed, and inspired, I have tucked myself away like a bear during winter to hibernate, paint and work on creative projects!!
I’m really excited actually, as the Valentines are finally starting to look a little yummy and I’ve decided to have them kept in a little ‘gem cover’ which has inspired a whole range of items I will design soon! Eeeek!
