We can’t have great days everyday right? I’m feeling a little vulnerable of late, and well, I’m not sure exactly what’s eating at me… do you guys ever have days… weeks when you just feel crappy?
Maybe it’s what I’m eating… it certainly isn’t helping, with a self-sabotaging form of vengeance I seem determined to undermine my aimed-for...
I’m really loving this image, which is a no-brainer really, because I love hugs and I love trees… so it’s a win win :)
That said, it lead to to find this beautiful project called the Photographic Dictionary which seeks to find images that explain or define particular words… go have a browse and tell me what you think…

In the work swamped and getting swampier past few days I very illegally snuck in some much (we’re talking months!) longed for craft time to stitch some hexagons, which I’ve been itching to do for years (ridiculous isn’t it how we let these things slide) as no ‘perfect’ moment pops up…
ANYHOW, so I snuck in the time and loved every minute and angle of...

The other day I went over to my sister’s place & sitting cutely along her window sill were some little painted pinecones she had made into little artworks. They were beautiful…
When I came across these sticks it reminded me of the pinecones and the potential for beautiful things to be made everywhere…
happy & sticky ;)

I’m going loopey for these lupins me and my mom happily brought home on friday, I just can never get enough of flowers they bring elegance and life into a space that nothing else can match… sigh.
How are you Visionaries? My great friend & poet the storialist’s blog turns 2 today!! Can you believe it? It got me wondering how long I’ve been writing ‘for the...
One of the great things I’m learning about the internet and blogging is that you can dedicate a post.
In that vain, I would like to test your patience for a moment (buckets at the ready everyone, I apologise for getting personal…but sometimes in life…) and dedicate this post to my mom. My patient, supportive, beautiful, tiny, productive, inspiring, creative, &...

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaw, isn’t this image just beautiful in every possible way? ;) Does anyone know where it came from? I’d love to credit it. My mom sent it to me in an email and it just spoke telephone-books worth of words to me….
Elephants never forget… we know this, so, are they then like us? Do they sit and think about the things they love, the elephants they miss? I...

As the black swans glide along the water, and the mountains stood, quiet and fading to white, we drove up and back down one of them and waved goodbye to Wanake & New Zealand.
What a beautiful trip this has been…

Greetings Visionaries!
I am continuing sharing my little trip that I am on with my family, here in New Zealand… so it’s a bit of a little travelogue for only 3 more days… eh it makes a change, no? To see a new place? I hope you don’t mind the tangent…
Today we visited a little historic town set up for gold mining way back when, called Arrow Town. We wandered...

Greetings Visionaries ;)
What a magical place this is! We’re staying by lake Wanaka, and this afternoon we went for a walk to take it in in all it’s glistening vast glory… sigh… Isn’t it beautiful?
There’s a famous little tree which grows in the middle of the lake in the water. When we went it was low tide, but still so very gorgeous!

Well, I’m ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yahoooo! It’s a miracle! (hehe no really, it is…). Contrary to an annoyingly dissappointed Mr Visionary I am not the bravest or sportiest of individuals so, I am HUGELY proud of myself to have skied down some itsy bitsy slopes and lived to tell the tales. There were hours of waiting wasted, a few falls and a...

Mmmmm, the gorgeous natural things you discover when encountering a new & exciting landscape… Frosted leaves (INSANELY gorgeous don’t you think?!), Pine Cones, gently shattering icicles and endless white-topped mountains shimmering against a glistening lake… sigh, it doesn’t seem real here.
The Mountain Range we see from where...

You know in fairy tales how they mention a land far far away…? Well, I made it! and it only took about 5 hours to get here :) hehe
I can’t remember if I’ve blogged it or not, it came so quickly to be honest. Either way, this week I’m am a lucky lucky lady and have made my way to NZ to spend time with family and yes… you guessed it, have my first go at skiing - or...
